Eclipse Dress
The Eclipse Dress is a multipurpose dress. It comes with a belt so you can wear it with or without it. Either wear it loose as a boxy shaped dress or wrap the belt around the waist for a different look. Featuring a wide boat neckline and short batwing sleeves. Made from a fine organic cotton crepe fabric with an airy feel.
Comes in two classic tones:
“Ivory” – a warm white
“Black” – a deep matte black
Fairly made in the TAWAST studio in Copenhagen, Denmark by the hands of Milla Tawast
MATERIAL:
100% Organic Cotton, GOTS certified
The organic cotton is grown in Benin, Tanzania and India. The fabric is designed in Paris, France. Spinning, weaving, dyeing and washing of the fabric is done in La Loire, France. The fabric is GOTS certified, which means it includes strict environmental and social criteria for operations along the entire supply chain.

MODEL WEARS:
Ivory - Model is 176 cm tall and wears size XS
Black - Model is 181 cm tall and wears size XS
CARE:
The garment is machine washable. Wash on a gentle cycle in cool water. Hang to dry, do not tumble dry. Press on medium heat with steam to remove wrinkles.
Because this is a natural material, slight shrinkage will occur, which is taken into consideration when making the pattern and sizing.
CHARITY:

Every TAWAST piece goes through Milla’s hands from the designing and pattern making to the manufacturing and packaging. That means less transportation, no back and forth with a factory. All the garments are made to order by herself so they don’t produce more things into the world than there is a use for.
At the TAWAST studio the waste in production is minimized. A lot of the studio equipment is bought second-hand. TAWAST donates 5% of each sale to animal sanctuaries.

Their jersey fabrics is made of 100% GOTS certified organic linen. The flax plant is grown in Normandy, France. The fabric is made in Germany.
To minimize fabric waste the scraps left over are used for small accessories. Your items are mailed in plastic-free packaging.
