Our Mėnulis Bag orbits your body a little like the moon orbits the earth: it's one you'll always keep close by. The perfect size for keeping all of your daily essentials close, our hand-crocheted bucket bag is made from 100% fair trade cotton with a drawstring-esque closure. With a checkerboard print and an adjustable handle, it's set to become your new fav plus one.

We don't believe in deadstock. This knit is knitted in small batches by our kick-ass knitters. We used Fair Trade Cotton, with no microplastics and no harmful or irritant chemicals used. It's also OEKO-TEX® certified, which means they're safe from an ecological point of view and don't release any harmful substances.
The best part? You'll get a card with your order telling you exactly who knitted your garment and a little about them.
We're seriously proud of the knitters team we've gathered. Some work full time, others knit when they have time after taking care of their families. Currently, we have around 70 hand-knitters who work from home in rural Lithuania and two vetted, audited, family-run, female-founded partner production factories. Wanna put a face to a name? However, the three founders wanted to create something that made you feel good wearing it. Each purchase empowers craftswomen, mostly stay-at-home moms in rural areas of Lithuania. The majority of them live in villages where jobs are extremely scarce.

The Knotty Ones only sources the softest 100% natural fibres inspired by local Northern traditions such as Alpaca wool, Merino wool and 100% Oeko-Tex certified extra stretch cotton, ensuring that it is soft and non-toxic for your skin while wearing.
Depending on how complex your garment is, it takes at least two to four full days for an artisan to make just one knit. In that sense, each product has its own individual story.
