Sappho, the great poetess of antiquity, was a high spirited woman self-driven by dignity and dreams that mattered. She played a significant social and political role in Lesvos, in the 6th century B.C.
In her work and in her life, she attached great value to love and passion, femininity and feminine values. However, above all, Sappho was a true aristocrat in spirit and soul. According to Sappho, the aristocratic woman stood out with the grace and finesse.

Following an accident that kept her away from her work, she had an intense desire to stay creative in order to aid her recovery. Her passion for collages turned into silk screens on paper as art and then to silk screening on silk scarves.
