Melina was the one of the greatest female figures of modern Greece and known as the last Greek goddess. She was a striking woman, a stage and movie actress of international fame, and a politician who left her mark on Greek culture.
She was the first politician who fought for the return of the Parthenon Sculptures to their home, Greece, thus beginning the international campaign of their return.
According to political legend, every time Melina entered a room, her positive energy was so captivating and evident to everyone present that no one could ignore her, an unparalleled phenomenon. A truly powerful, successful and iconic woman.
