Solitude the Label is based in Amsterdam and was founded by two sisters, Amber and Tanée. Their mum is a textile artist and is the one who taught them sewing and probably the one who inspired them to choose a creative job. Amber, the oldest sister, was the one who established Solitude around five years ago. A couple of years later, Tanée joined her. They absolutely love working together as they can be so honest with each other and have very different qualities, therefore they wonderfully complement one another.
We absolutely love their elegant and minimalistic style, characterized by organic shapes and timeless designs. All items are locally handmade by these two talented sisters at their Amsterdam-based Atelier.

Imperfectly Perfect Jewelry & Much More
Their timeless jewellery collection is constructed of recycled 925 Silver and 14K Gold. Using recycled precious metals is the most sustainable option as it bypasses the mining process, which is detrimental to our Mother Earth and workers.
Because they have all the tools and skills in-house, they also make durable bags, face masks and yoga activewear. The plastic-free face masks are made of left-over linen and cotton fabrics and the durable bags are made of overstock leather - some customers have been using their bag for over 5 years every single day, and they will hopefully use it for many more years to come! Their timeless activewear collection is reversible and made of modal - a bio-based fabric that is made from spinning beech tree cellulose and known to be more eco-friendly than traditional cotton because, for example, beech trees don't require much water to grow.
