yvo et moi is your best ally in cold weather and will help you resist the lowest temperatures with style and softness. Hidden (or not) under any of your favorite outfits or worn layered with each other. This brand makes multi-functional pieces that are thermoregulating, breathable and both comfy & sexy to adapt to your life and style, in the city, outdoors and at home.
yvo et moi is a woman-owned business: The founder, who is the mother of 3 little guys, has more than ten years of experience in designing lingerie and has given their sons names to our basics: melvil, marius and malo.
Their collection is entirely produced in a family owned factory in Biella, Italy. Biella is a small town nestled at the foot of the Alps, rich in springs and lakes and has been leading the manufacturing of wool since the 1800s, expertly treating and dyeing wool using less water and chemicals. The brand visits them annually and love to go through their warehouse to use the left over from previous productions.
Incredibly Soft in Merino Wool and Silk
This thermos collection is 99% natural: extra virgin merino wool, silk and Lenzing micromodal (the extra 1% is a touch of Lycra from Dupont for the micromodal blend). Naturally fresh and incredibly soft, they will keep you warm when it is cold and fresh when it is hot.
The complex structure of their tube knitting gives our pieces great elasticity as well as invisible and non-existent seams, ideal for the most sensitive skin. Their silk is spun assembling several filaments and it receives several twists before being dyed: which brings exceptional resistance to our products.
All weaving, dyeing, washing, softening, cutting, sewing, checking and ironing operations are carried out in Italy. All the fibers are Oeko-tex certified, so no substances harmful to the skin (such as alkyphenols, phtalates or perfluorated substances).
The good news? They're washable! You can now wash all of your favorite tops over and over again with nos fuss: you'll just need to throw them in the wash and dry them out flat.
We also love the fact that their precious and rare lace is made in France, respecting the rules of the art which made its reputation, on Leavers looms, according to an original process of interlacing yarns from a bicentennial know-how. The label distinguishes luxury lace woven in Calais and Caudry from much more common knitted laces.
