Alles wird von lokalen Fachleuten in Portugal handgefertigt, wo sich die Fabriken befinden. Sie arbeiten mit einer Fabrik zusammen, die das SMETA-Zertifikat besitzt, das Standards für Gesundheit und Sicherheit, Arbeitsnormen, Umweltauswirkungen und Geschäftsethik festlegt. Die Fabrik wird mit Solarenergie betrieben, verwendet einen geschlossenen Wasserkreislauf und überwacht ihre Emissionen.
Sie arbeitet mit biobasierten Materialien wie Maisabfällen sowie mit recycelten Materialien wie Baumwolle, Gummi und PET. Alle Turnschuhe von Beflamboyant werden in einer Schachtel aus recyceltem und wiederverwertetem Karton verpackt, die frei von Plastiketiketten ist. Die Schuhe werden mit einem Jutebeutel geliefert, der wiederverwendet werden kann. Die Marke legt außerdem eine Dankeskarte bei, die eingepflanzt werden kann!
